Cruise

Yeah I'm the first to post :D We had so much fun on our cruise to Mexico. We enjoyed spending time with family and just having a little bit of alone time to ourselves also ;) This was our honeymoon which we enjoyed very much.

On Monday we arrive at the airport at 6:30 hoping that we could check in as soon as we got there, nope they didn't open up until 7 so we were standing in line for thirty minutes waiting to check in. We saw some family in the line which was fun. After we went through security and were waiting at the terminal we caught up with some more family. Here is a picture that Justin enjoyed taking outside the planes window.

We arrived in Long Beach about 45 minutes before my parents, brothers, and some other aunt and uncles on Delta. They were suppose to arrive before us but they were delayed. Half of the family that arrived on our plane took the first shuttle to the ship while the rest of us waited for the other flight. We ended up playing phase ten. Justin took some more pictures while we were waiting for everyone else.

As soon as everyone arrived we left on the shuttle to go to the ship. Here are some of the people in our shuttle and then a picture of us in the van.

We arrived at the ship and checked in there before we boarded. We did early boarding so we wouldn't have to wait in line forever. We had just barely got through the early check in when they had closed the doors for the check in so we were very lucky to have made it through.

We left Long Beach that evening and headed for Catalina Island. At dinner our waiter and waitress sang happy honeymoon and happy birthday to me and Justin. I was blushing so much and so was Justin.

We arrived in Catalina the next day. While in Catalina we went kayaking. I got really sunburned on my front but had a lot of fun still. We found out that Catalina was only 26 miles away from Long Beach and that we could have gotten there in about an hour. We figured the Captain was doing circles in the middle of the ocean. We dressed up for dinner tonight. We took some family pictures on the staircase in the grand atrium.

We left Catalina that same day and arrived in Ensenada, Mexico on Wednesday. We had all day in Mexico to play around. Justin and I and my parents and brothers went to downtown Ensenada to shop a little while before we had our excursion. We looked around first to see what the prices were on things we liked before we bought anything. We went back to the ship and at 1 we went back down to start excursion. We went to a blow hole in La Bufadora. It was about a 30 minutes drive to the blow hole in which we were given a tour of Ensenada on the way the way there. We watched the water come our for a few minutes then we enjoyed doing some shopping. We got to barter with the people there for the items that we wanted to purchase. Because we had shopped downtown we new how much we could get what we wanted for. We bought a wooden flower, a patriots sign (for Justin), and wind chimes. We stopped back downtown on our way back from the excursion and we also bought some coasters. It was Justin's birthday today and we had some fun spending time as a couple together.

Justin and I watched as we left Ensenada that night. It was cool because the Captain had the ship do a 360 in the harbor where we didn't think it had enough room. We had fun walking around the ship enjoying each others company. I'm not sure what night it was but we watched my aunts and uncles do karaoke which was so much fun. My Grandpa had also gotten up and sang my Grandma a song. Everyone was cheering him on.

The final day was the day at sea. We went to a show that afternoon where they were singing show tunes. We also went to a "Not so Newlywed Newlywed" show. They had three couples on stage, newlyweds, the longest married couple and then the ones in between. The questions that were asked and the answers that they gave were so funny we were busting up laughing. We went to dinner that night and Justin had spilt his water three times! It was so funny. Honey (our waitress) and Cam (our waiter) gave him one more chance with his water. If he spilt it again they were going to take it away from him. After dinner we went to a comedy show and then right after the comedy show there was a little bit more karaoke. We left karaoke and we didn't want to go to bed (even though it was the last night) so we stayed up taking pictures around the ship. We finally went to bed around 1 in the morning so we could get up the next day.

Friday we got up around 7 got ready for the day and waited for our turn to debark from the ship. We finally debarked and we rented a car with some of our aunts and uncles. Justin and I rode with my uncle David and his girlfriend Jody and her sister Jaime to Huntington Beach. We met up with Greg, Arianne, Steve and Sally at the beach later on. Justin and I took a walk on the beach and gathered some sea shells. We also saw a few dolphins. It was so much fun. I got sun burned on my back to match my sun burn on my back. We left the beach with David and met up with Greg and Arianne at a Best Buy and switched cars. Steve wanted to go back to the airport and we wanted to shop so David took Steve to the airport. Greg and Arianne and us went shopping at Target to get Anika some gifts. After we went shopping we headed back to the airport where we found out was right next to Target and we had taken the round about way to get there. We had a blast doing it though and we didn't have to wait very long at the airport for our flight at 7 pm.

We arrived back in Salt Lake around 10:30 pm and we were very glad to be back. We enjoyed spending time with our family and loved getting to know each other better. We would do it again in a heart beat.

(I'll post more pictures later but because it is so late I'm heading off to bed. Its taking forever to load the pictures and it doesn't help that you can only load 5 at a time :S Check back later and I will have more on here for you to look at :D)

Excited

Okay so this isn't going to be anything fancy I'm just really excited for our cruise! We can't wait to go and see and get to know the family better. :D We are having fun getting packed and cleaning the house (well not so much fun cleaning but I want a clean place to come home to because of all the laundry that will need to be done after we get back.) The laundry is going to be very difficult :S Our washer broke on us and we don't get our new one until August 2nd. Thanks to both of our parents for letting us use theirs :D :D :D :D We love them for it. I'm just rambling now so I'm going to stop. I can't wait to see everyone. We are going to have so much fun! Anyone bringing games?

Boondocks

On Tuesday Justin and I enjoyed hanging out with Haley and Garrett. We went swimming in the morning and later in the afternoon we went to Boondocks. We enjoyed playing miniature golf, arcades (which we all got a LOT of tickets :D), bumper boats, and the go-karts. After we got off the go-karts we found out that on the track next to us someone was injured and the paramedics had to come and take the guy off in a stretcher. Well here are a few pictures of the three on the bumper boats. Thats all I remembered to take pictures of.
