Two Year Anniversary

Its been a couple weeks since we had our two year anniversary but we had a wonderful time together. I took a couple days off of work and Justin got off work early one day and had another day off. We went out to dinner and stayed at home and spent some time together. We had a wonderful time. Lets start with Friday March 12th. I took the day off and cleaned. Justin got off work early this day. We stayed at home and enjoyed having some friends over. Saturday we had a wonderful date night. Justin won a prize from work where we got to go in a limo to dinner at The Melting Pot and then we went and saw Brian Reagan. We had a wonderful time. We went with one of his co-workers and her husband.

This is what we had for dinner. It was the Alpine Night Out or something like that. We got an appetizer of vegetables and bread in a cheese dip. Then we had a salad. The main course came after that which included chicken, sirloin, filet minon, shrimp and ravioli. We cooked it in a broth which our waiter said was healthier. For dessert we had strawberries, bananas, cheesecake, brownies, marshmellows which we could dip in chocolate. The chocolate was white and milk and they did it in a ying/yang sign. It was awesome! We loved it!

This is us at dinner waiting for the main course to come.

This is us in the limo I believe on our way to watch Brian Reagan.

Brian Reagan was very funny. We had a lot of fun watching and listening to him.

That was our Saturday. Sunday Justin and I stayed at home. I cooked lasagne for us which is the second time I've ever cooked it since being married. The first time I did it, it was in the crock pot which was too dry. This one I made was wonderful. It was a recipe from my dad. We had leftovers for a while, but everything bite was eaten up.

Justin took Monday off because that was our actual anniversary. We didn't do much that day. We just stayed at home is all I can remember. We are very happy and glad to be celebrating our second year anniversary. We are excited for the many more to come along.

We were talking about where we have been living since we were married and where we have celebrated our anniversaries. Right after we were married we lived in our apartment. On our first anniversary we were living in Justin's parents house. Now we live in our own home. We are wondering where we are going to be on our third anniversary.

Projects

So I decided to post the quilts that I have made on here. I like to sew and in high school I made my first quilt (which I never got a picture) and then Justin's mom got me into doing shag quilts so thats what I've usually been working on but I did a stack and slash for Justin and I. I don't have that picture uploaded yet but I will get it. Here are the pictures.

This is one that I made for my Uncle Bret. Its huge! If I remember its 13 squares down which each square is 7 inches.

This one I made for one of my best friends who is having a baby girl!

This one is for my mom for Christmas of 2008.

I made this one for Stacey.

There are a lot of quilts that I still want to make. Justin wants one that is colorful so I'm working on finding a pattern that isn't too hard that he will like where I can do a lot of colors.

Pictures

Yeah, we finally got our pictures put on our computer. Well, Justin finally uploaded them so here they are! I hope you enjoy! Also, the pictures are in backwards order and I really don't want to have to fix them so go from the bottom up.

Christmas Season

This Christmas season has been so much fun. We have done a lot of things. Lets see, we've had two weddings and three christmas parties to go to. We've also gone to Idaho (where we still are at the moment) and celebrated a birthday. We have been having a lot of fun together!

We don't have any pictures from the weddings unfortunately or one of the Christmas parties. We went to Justin's work Christmas party on the Friday before Christmas. It was at the Grand America and we enjoyed dinner and a show. They had Kurt Bestor (sorry, don't know how to spell his last name) come and perform. At the end we got a gift basket that had his CD in there along with a movie, hot chocolate and some popcorn. We dressed up for the party but I don't have the pictures with me so I will post those later.

We had my family Christmas party the Sunday before Christmas. That was at my Uncle Eric's house. It was a lot of fun also. It took us a little while to find it because I've never driven up there and Justin has never been there before so it was an adventure to find it. We enjoyed our families company. They had a taco bar for dinner and for dessert we had chocolates, cake and cookies. Yummy! After dessert we had our white elephant exchange. It was a lot of fun. Justin and I were "stealing" other gifts from people when we were able to. We were battling over some glasses and a drink, and a neck massager. We ended up going home with some towels and a pampered chef strainer thing. We had a lot of fun listening to the talent show also. I didn't take a lot of pictures but I will get them from my sister so I can post them. She got some pretty funny ones.

For Christmas we came up to Idaho and spent it with Justin's sister and her family. We came up on Wednesday and we aren't going home until Sunday. We have had a lot of fun up here playing games and enjoying each others company. We also celebrated his Mom's Birthday! (Happy Birthday!) It was fun watching Justin's nephews get up and open up their Christmas gifts. They were so excited with everything they recieved. We loved everything we got also! Thank you everyone! We still have a couple more things that we are going to do today but we got back from going shopping already. We are going to go and see The Blindside with his sister and her husband and then everyone is going to go to dinner at this pizza place. I'm going to backtrack for a sec. On Christmas Eve, Justin's sister and her family did a nativity scene for everyone which was really cute. We listened to the story of the Night Before Christmas and also the story of Mary and Joseph. It was a wonderful evening. We stayed here on Christmas and I called my family to wish them all a Merry Christmas. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Season and we hope that next year is just the same.

Stacey has been in town for a little while and it has been so much fun visiting with her and playing with Alex. We have been enjoying each others company. I need to take some pictures of everyone together.

I have some pictures with me but I will have another post that has all the pictures. I hope you all enjoy!

Not Much

Not much is happening right now with us. We just started school again last week and so far it hasn't been too bad. We are both taking programming, photography, and an online course. Justin is also taking psychology. We are having fun staying at home and being with each other. We visit a lot with family and eat a lot of their food! It was really nice to have the summer off without having to worry about finishing a paper or cramming for a test. We hope all is well with everyone else!

GOOP!

Every couple years the girls on my Mom's side of the family get together and party. GOOP stands for Girls Only Out Partying! Before I went to GOOP, Justin, Jordan and I went to their work party in Park City. We were able to go on the apline slide and alpine coaster as many times as we wanted. Unfortunately it started raining when we got up there so we were only able to do the alpine coaster. We had a blast! After that I went to GOOP.
We had GOOP at my parents house. Friday night we watched movies and played games and talked until we all decided to go to bed. I got a surprise in the middle of the night and it was Justin calling me and then showing me that he shaved! :) (Him and Jordan were seeing how long their hair would get if they didn't shave for three months. They called a truce and they both shaved!). On Saturday we pampered ourselves. We had massages and facials and we gave ourselves manicures and pedicures. Here are some pictures of the fun!

Just hanging out. Candice is getting her toes done.

After we were done pampering ourselves we all went to the living planet aquarium. Here are some of the pictures I took of the aquarium. The fish were awesome! We enjoyed going there and exploring all different creatures of the sea.

That is most of our trip. I will add more pictures when I get them from my mom. I had a lot of fun! I can't wait to do it again in a couple of years.
